‘Art is a harmony, parallel with nature’
I am a Dublin-based artist originating from Enniscorthy, Wexford. In 2002, I graduated from the National College of Art and Design with a BA in Art, Design and Education, and since then I have been teaching art at secondary school level.
I am particularly interested in capturing the beauty and harmony of the natural world with a particular emphasis on captivating the Irish landscape. This has been a huge influence on my work as I revel in the opportunity to immerse myself in nature and experience my subject first hand.
My artworks are composed of rich vibrant colours and are often abstract in style, I explore a variety of mediums such as inks, dyes, pastels, and acrylic paint.
All ideas are sourced from my own photography and my imagination.
